Our new demo reel is now complete! We think this new promotional piece will knock your socks off, and will provide you with a whole host of new and useful information. It is a user-friendly CD-ROM that runs on your computer, and allows you to read information, view testimonials, and watch video footage on the various services that Mystivate Inc. offers.

Al Pacino Movie Magically Changes Name
This is just a quick update on some past mystification. As many of you will remember, Mystivate's Jason Palter was hired last year to consult and teach star Al Pacino a magic trick for the upcoming motion picture "The Farm". The movie title has changed, and is now called "The Recruit". The trick that Jason taught Mr. Pacino involves the tearing and restoring of a newspaper, and takes place in a bar near the beginning of the movie.
Mystivate on Television
Mystivate was featured on "Small Business Television", a weekly Ontario television show that provides information on how small business owners started their businesses, and the challenges and rewards that these entrepreneurs face. The clip was approximately 5 minutes long and featured footage of Mystivate President Jason Palter entertaining for an event and presenting at a trade show and a conference. It also included an interview with our client, Boris Bozic, Manager of Broker Sales, TD Canada Trust. Jason was interviewed, and elaborated on the unique concepts and ideas that Mystivate brings to our clients.
"Five Alive" Commercial
Recently, Jason filmed a commercial for "Five Alive" citrus beverage. It was the second time he had booked a part for this particular product, and the producers were pleased to be working with him again. The brand's commercials are very creative, a little off the wall, but very memorable, as each 30-second spot contains numerous 5-second snippets featuring the product. Jason's hand appears in two of these segments. In the first, Jason's hand is made to look like a walking can of "Five Alive", with his first two fingers as the legs. This walking karate fighter chops a small board in half! The second bit features Jason's hands performing a "3-card Monte" with three cans of "Five Alive", and when the middle can is lifted, it reveals a man tap dancing!
Atlantic Packaging Conference
Jason added an innovative twist to Atlantic Packaging's recent national sales conference. He was booked for two days, and not only entertained the participants for part of it, he also performed some creative presentations including making the President appear from a box for the kick-off. The theme of the conference was "No Boundaries", illustrating that in the world of sales success, there are no boundaries, and we can truly go places we never thought possible. Jason also designed a customized 45-minute presentation entitled "No Boundaries: The Magic in Sales", that helped to deliver an impactive message that tied into the overall theme of the conference while mysitvating the participants.
'The Magic In Sales'
In this creative presentation that was recently featured at the above mentioned national sales conference for Atlantic Packaging, the unique parallels between selling and magic are successfully explored. Sales is all about taking responsibility, hunting down new business, and not limiting ourselves. Sometimes the whole concept of selling--getting a client to listen to us, put their trust in us, and give us their hard-earned money in exchange for goods or services-can be quite a magical feat. In this presentation, which is customized to the individual client, we explore the struggles and successes that are the business of sales. We also cover how this process parallels a magician's job of selling his/her services to a prospect, how we must pursue our goal of the successful sale and goal of a sales figure, and most importantly keep a positive attitude to help us succeed.
