We had a fantastic last quarter, and are in the process of booking some great events for the end of 2005. Read on to find out more about what we've been magically up to.

Jason Palter, "2004 Entertainer of the Year" Nominee
For the second year in a row, Mystivate's Jason Palter was nominated as "Entertainer of the Year" for 2004 by the CEIA (Canadian Events Industry Awards). The CEIA is a national award program that recognizes outstanding achievements for special events in Canada. Although we are now in 2005, the award is always calculated by scrutinizing the previous year's work. We congratulate all of the other nominees and the winners in the various categories!

New Commercials
“Have I seen you somewhere before?” If it's Jason you're talking to then the answer is “Probably” after he recently appeared in two television commercials. The first was for “Sprint Canada” in which Jason plays a frazzled husband whose sister-in-law's phone call makes for a humorous scene. The second commercial which is still running in some markets across Canada is for McDonald's. This very creative and fun spot is from the POV (Point of View) of an employee falling asleep at a boardroom table in an office. Sitting at the table listening to their boss rant and rave, are various workers, including Jason who is (some say typecast) playing the “office nerd”. He looks spiffy sporting a short-sleeved dress shirt and a knit tie. Snazzy!

Paltergeist Unlimited
On a different front, we are very excited to announce a new company that we have just conjured up. It is called "Paltergeist Unlimited", and is a division of Mystivate Inc. Yes it is a fun name, but what does this new company do? The answer: magic tricks! Many of the tricks, illusions and routines that Jason performs are created by him, and we have finally decided to market some of them to a select audience. The first trick should debut by the end of the fall, and will be sold worldwide to amateur and professional magicians in various magic shops.
